- Assisted with the initial research and implementation of a payroll system and procured benefits for employees.
- Created an onboarding experience and offboarding process which reflected, and aligned with, client’s values.
- Day to day HR Lead and point of contact for employees who needed assistance (fractional HR). Also, handled day to day HR operation functions such as: payroll, benefits, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, etc.
- In the absence of an HR leader and until a new HR leader was found, mentored and coached more junior HR managers by providing them with guidance, advice and help with build out and execution of HR
- Assisted client with transitioning away from a PEO services model to a non-PEO model and implemented a new payroll and benefits system.
- Conducted an audit of current contractors and identified those that are at a high risk of being misclassified. Helped client with conversion of high risk contractors to full time employees.
- Partnered with legal counsel to create employee handbook and company policies.
- Partnered with the internal HR team and helped them prepare for a SOC2 audit.
- Assisted with gathering of HR data and documents for a client that was being acquired. Once the company was acquired, assisted with the transition from the old company to the new company from an HR perspective.
